1. Checked if the system is wirelessly connected.

*connect the flat end (usb) cable to the pc and the square end to the 3300 WAP.
*Run the CD (3300)
*Checked any firewall/encryption key/password (WEP, WAP) if true = disabled.
4.Proceed with the Installation
*Connect the flat end (USB) cable back to the 3300 and the square end back to the printer.
*Run the CD (printer)
5. Finish the Installation (Print a Test Page)

Note:

>>>User may not need to purchase a wireless router since the Dell 3300 Wireless Print Adapter is capable of Ad-Hoc/Peer-to-Peer connectivity. Hence, it can communicate directly to the system wirelessly.

Ad-Hoc/Peer-to-Peer connectivity
****
Yah you're right, i forget there's an Ad-Hoc but it is not advisable to used because it requires in-depth understanding of wireless networking. You will need to change the network settings of your computer, configure the wireless printer adapter, and then restore your computer to the original network settings. But if the customer insists, still we have to kiss their ass. support them. lolz!
